MISSION: The Mission of Friends of Alaska’s Children in Care is to improve outcomes for children and youth in State and Tribal care.
VISION: The Vision of Friends of Alaska’s Children in Care is that every child and youth in State and Tribal care have the greatest possible opportunity for success including strong advocacy and beneficial direct support.
The VALUES of Friends of Alaska’s Children in Care include:
- Support of Alaska’s volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates and the children and youth that they serve.
- Support of Alaskan child advocacy programs serving children and youth in Alaska State and Tribal care, particularly those working to address current issues of disproportionality.
- Support of Alaskan youth who have recently aged out of available in care supports.
